There can be a lot of factors for the coating to be peeling off. However, these steps will help minimize the peeling:

      1. DO NOT use sharp utensils to scoop the rice from the inner pot. Ex: metal spatula, spoons, forks, chopsticks, laddle, and etc. Please use a rice scooper/spatula that came with the rice cooker.
      2. Pre-soak the inner pot with warm water after each use for 2-3hrs to soften the leftover rice for an easy cleaning
      3. Never use an abrasive sponge or material to wash your inner pot
      4. Never leave or wash utensils inside the inner pot
      5. DO NOT place the inner pot upside down on top of other dishes when you're drying the inner pot
      6. The inner pots were not made to be washed in a dishwashing machine. Please avoid it at all cost.
      7. Dry the inner pot with a soft material

The "Cup(s)" you see indicated in Cuckoo rice cookers are not meant for U.S. cup or Imperial Cup measurements. The "Cup" size is referred to the rice measurement cup that comes along with the rice cooker when you purchase it. Please use the provided measurement cup to gage how much rice you need. The number value on the rice measurement cup refers to the serving size. Ex: 2 cups for 2 servings. 10 cups for 10 servings.

GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid) rice is a germinated brown rice (sprouted brown rice) that has more nutrients than a regular brown rice. The amino acid known as GABA is a neurotransmitter that is known to have calming effect. It can be consumed to help ease with anxiety, stress, high blood pressure, and/or insomnia.

The germination process also helps produce more nutrients such as Vitamin B and higher protein contents than those of brown or white rice. The process also helps reduce sugar content while still maintaining that sweet taste.

The GABA rice is not a new variety of a brown rice. Instead, it is a new method of cooking a brown rice. This can be accomplished by soaking the brown rice in a purified water for 16 hours. When you’re ready, you may start cooking the soaked rice via our GABA preset button. The rice cooker will be soaking the rice for additional 2-3hrs at 104F and then start the cooking process.

The induction heating pressure rice cookers have heating coil around the inner pot and have heating plates on the top and bottom. Thus, the rice is being cooked with pressure from all sides. This procedure helps cook the rice faster than electric pressure and electric warmer type of rice cookers.

The electric pressure rice cookers are traditional rice cooker with pressure capability to cook the rice faster and tastier. However, the rice cooker only has a heating source on the bottom.

The electric warmer rice cookers are the traditional rice cookers. The rice cooker has no pressure and will only heat from the bottom plate. This type of rice cooker will take longer than other two, but still provide a tasty rice for everyone to enjoy.

We do not recommend our users to keep the rice in the rice cooker with keep warm function enabled for more than 12 hours.

You can store your leftover rice in a sealed/airtight container. Then, you can toss it into your freezer. If you use this method, your rice has potential to last up to six months. It must be stored at -17°C/1.4°F. You may reheat the rice via microwave to enjoy your meal.
